Peruvian cumbia singer Pamela Franco said her relationship with former partner Christian Domínguez has improved considerably, and that the two have managed to leave past disagreements behind for the sake of the young daughter they share.
Franco made the comments during an appearance on the entertainment program Más Espectáculos, amid public attention surrounding a separate rapprochement between footballer Christian Cueva and Pamela López.
Setting differences aside for their daughter
Franco, known for songs including "Dile la verdad," acknowledged that she and Domínguez had clashed in the past but said she no longer holds any resentment toward him. She said her main priority is her daughter's wellbeing, which is why she chose to leave personal grievances to one side.
She said she lowers her guard for her daughter and is capable of anything for her. Franco added that Domínguez will always be the girl's father, regardless of whatever disagreements may arise between the two of them.
Franco also said she wants Domínguez to be happy, because if he is happy, her daughter will be happy too. She said her current concern is focused on her daughter's peace of mind rather than on any differences she and Domínguez may have had.

Domínguez is a well-known Peruvian cumbia singer who leads the band Gran Orquesta Internacional. Cueva is a Peruvian footballer. Franco is currently Cueva's partner.
A better relationship with an older daughter
Franco also spoke about the family situation between Domínguez and Melanie Martínez, the mother of his older daughter, Camila. She said there is now a better understanding between Domínguez and Camila, something she said she welcomed.
She said it is positive when adults manage to improve their family relationships, especially when children are involved and a respectful coexistence is needed.
She said that as adults, people can have countless differences, but that in the end everyone has to calm down, because the priority is raising their children well.
