In Krasnodar, due to a lack of cash, a schoolgirl with developmental disabilities was dropped from a minibus. According to “RIA Novosti” with reference to the regional supervisory authority of the Kuban, the prosecutor’s office is checking on this fact.

Earlier, in the Telegram channel “Typical Krasnodar”, an appeal appeared from the girl’s mother, who said that her daughter has developmental features and studies at correctional school No. 21, while she goes to school herself. According to the post, on Monday after school, the schoolgirl tried to pay for the fare on the minibus with a card, but the terminal did not work, and the child did not have cash. The driver, according to a message on the network, tried to kick the girl out of the minibus, but other passengers paid for her. On Tuesday, the situation repeated itself: the driver started yelling at the schoolgirl and kicked her out of the minibus.

“During the audit, an assessment will be made of the actions of the legal entity to comply with the legislation on the organization of regular transportation of passengers by public transport, as well as the actions of the driver carrying out passenger transportation along route No. 1, who on January 31 dropped off a disabled child due to her lack of cash and the impossibility of accepting payment by bank card,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The police, having received the statement of the mother of the child, also began their check.

In March 2021, a federal law came into force in Russia prohibiting unpaid children from being dropped off public transport. The legislative act was adopted after a number of high-profile cases when children were dropped off in sparsely populated places, in frost and under other circumstances that outraged the public.
