This Saturday morning a multiple murder was reported inside a Daule urbanization, where five people died, including two members of a family from Quevedo.

The deceased have judicial records and were known in that canton of the province of Los Ríos.
Hours after the attack in the urbanization located on León Febres-Cordero avenue, Daule jurisdiction, in the Quevedo canton, at least two hit men were reported.
The inhabitants fear that it is the beginning of a war between gangs and that this is a response to the deaths that occurred in the morning in the Daule residential complex.
At 5:30 p.m., an attack by hitmen occurred in a barbershop in Quevedo. One death and one injury were reported there.
Five people are murdered in a Daule urbanization
According to preliminary information, at least five people were served at the barbershop. A car was parked outside the premises and unknown men fired at least eleven times at the business located in the San Camilo parish. The injured were taken to a hospital.
An hour later, in the La Venus neighborhood, there was a new hit man.
The victimized man was riding a motorcycle near a school when he was surprised by two armed men who shot him six times.
According to information provided by police personnel, the deceased was identified as Jacinto Jhonatan Alvarado Álvarez, 27, who has judicial records for robbery in 2018.
At least 15 people have been murdered in the Quevedo canton alone until January 28.
Hitmen with rifles entered the Quevedo morgue to kill a man who was removing the body of his spouse
On Friday the 27th, a man who was removing his wife’s body from the morgue was murdered by individuals carrying rifles inside the Forensic Medicine Laboratory of that town.
On January 17, a couple was also murdered in their home in the Guayacán parish. The woman was pregnant. (YO)
