The headquarters of the candidate for mayor of Portoviejo Javier Pincay received an attack this afternoon, presumably with an explosive device. As a result, four people were injured, as confirmed by members of the political bureau of the candidate of the Avanza movement.
The event occurred around 6:00 p.m. this Wednesday at the Pincay headquarters, located on Ramos Iduarte street and José María Urbina avenue, in the heart of Portoviejo.
Pincay received a hitman-style attack on December 20, which kept him hospitalized for more than two weeks in a health home in Portoviejo. At the moment, the candidate is rehabilitating in the house of a relative.
