Russian singer Niletto, whose real name is Danil Prytkov, has had his upcoming concert in Bryansk canceled after audiences returned hundreds of tickets following his supportive comments for rapper Dzhigan.
The performance was originally scheduled to take place on October 10. However, event organizers were forced to call off the show after ticket holders began returning their purchases in large numbers.
According to reports from the Telegram channel Mash, about a thousand tickets had initially been sold at a price of 3.5 thousand rubles each. By October 6, mass returns had left only around one hundred seats occupied, prompting the final cancellation of the show.
Public backlash over rapper statement
The public backlash against Prytkov followed his recent remarks addressing a scandal involving rapper Dzhigan, whose real name is Denis Ustimenko-Vainshtein. Dzhigan had reportedly faced accusations of taking hostages and firing shots at his own staff members.
Commenting on the scandal, Prytkov stated that he had never seen his music industry colleague consume alcohol or use illegal substances. Those comments sparked widespread criticism from concertgoers, leading directly to the venue refunds in Bryansk.
