American singer Miley Cyrus has announced her tenth studio album, titled Bass Persuades, which is scheduled for release on September 18. The Grammy-winning artist shared the news with fans through a social media post on Tuesday, September 1.
Writing on Instagram, Cyrus said that her new music reflects every stage of life, describing it as strong, vulnerable, sweet, and tough. She explained that music overwhelms people, allowing them to feel, sing, dance, and express themselves through difficult and joyful moments alike.
Cyrus added that the album is filled with both heart and heartbreak, noting that this emotional spectrum represents the meaning behind the title Bass Persuades. She expressed gratitude to her supporters for helping make her wildest dreams come true and said she sincerely hoped listeners would love the record.
Live Performances at the Hollywood Bowl
Alongside the album announcement, Cyrus confirmed that she will headline two concerts at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and October 18. The performances will mark her return to the stage following a pause in live touring.
The upcoming show dates will be her first live concert appearances since performing at Spotify's Billions Club Live event in Paris in June 2025. The Spotify event celebrates artists who have achieved more than one billion streams on the digital music platform.
Preview Video and Musical Direction
Cyrus also offered fans an early preview of the album's musical direction by publishing a follow-up video on Instagram. In the clip, the singer plays an electric guitar while a rock track featuring heavy bass and a groovy rhythm plays in the background.
The announcement comes during a notable year for the singer, who previously received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 23, 2026. At the ceremony, Cyrus remarked that she would never forget the occasion, marking another milestone in a career that began in television before launching her into global pop stardom.
