Korina Rivadeneira shared on her Instagram stories a post from Mario Hart Potesta, the father of her former partner, television host and race car driver Mario Hart, in which he referred to her with an unexpected term following their recent and controversial separation.
Rivadeneira recently made public the difficulties she had experienced in her relationship with Hart, including accusing him of pressuring her to keep working while she was pregnant. According to Rivadeneira, Hart showed her no consideration during that period.
Hart defended himself, saying he had always supported her decisions, including her wish to accept an acting offer that represented a dream for her, even though it took time away from their daughter.
Family surprised by the account
The story surprised Hart's family, who for years had treated Rivadeneira with affection. After the controversy became public and the two appeared together at their daughter's birthday celebration, Rivadeneira revealed something unexpected from her former father-in-law.
Mario Hart is a well known figure in Peruvian television and motorsport, having taken part in reality competition shows and rally racing, while Rivadeneira has built a career as a model and television host. The couple share a daughter.
A birthday post that included her
Hart Potesta shared a photograph with his wife celebrating his 65th birthday alone, without any of his children present, but tagged Rivadeneira in the post and referred to her as though she were one of his own daughters.
Writing on Instagram, he said his 65th birthday had come to an end, and that, being a good Virgo, he had spent it away from the noise, in the coastal resort of Colan in Piura, cared for by his wife, since all of his children had been abroad at the same time. He then named them: Mario, Kori, Kari, Igor, Barbie, Ian, Sabri and Sergio. By including Rivadeneira, referred to as Kori, alongside his own children's names, he signalled that he still considers her part of the family.
Rivadeneira's response
After the gesture, Rivadeneira shared the post to her own Instagram stories, showing that she still maintains a close relationship with Hart's family despite her split from his son.
