Colombian singer Maluma and his partner, Susana Gómez, have welcomed their second child together. The urban music star announced on Tuesday the birth of a baby boy, whom the couple named Orión Londoño Gómez.
Maluma shared the news on Instagram, posting "Orión Londoño Gómez. 14/09/26" alongside a black-and-white photograph. In the image, Maluma is seen embracing Gómez while holding the newborn with visible emotion.
Second child for the couple
Maluma and Gómez have been in a relationship since 2020. They became parents for the first time in 2024 with the birth of their daughter, Paris. At the time, the singer shared several moments from his early days as a father with his followers and spoke about the happiness that new chapter brought him. He wrote that his first 15 days as a father were the best thing he had experienced in his life, posting the message alongside a carousel of family photographs.
Announcement on Mother's Day
The couple announced their second pregnancy on May 10, Mother's Day. Maluma surprised his followers with a photograph showing him and his daughter Paris both kissing Susana Gómez's belly.
Months later, during an interview with Billboard conducted at his farm in Medellin, the artist revealed that the baby would be a boy. He said the couple had decided to keep the news private for the first five months of the pregnancy, explaining that he wanted to enjoy a large part of the pregnancy without thinking about other things, simply being at home as a couple and savoring it.
Excitement over becoming a father again
With the arrival of his second child, Maluma also expressed his excitement about becoming a father again, this time to a boy. He said that with this baby, and knowing it was a boy, he was overflowing with happiness.
Busy year professionally
Orión's arrival comes during a period of intense professional activity for the singer. In May, Maluma released Loco X Volver, his seventh studio album, while he continues preparing for a new stage of his international career.
The Colombian artist is planning a world tour for 2027 and 2028, his first since the successful Don Juan Tour, which ran across various venues between 2023 and 2024.
