Lila Baklesi has given birth to her first child, a baby boy, her partner Panagiotis Markezinis announced on Facebook.
Markezinis, who is the father of the boy, shared the news on the evening of Friday, August 7, along with a photograph of their newborn baby and a message written directly to his son.
Message to the newborn
Addressing the child, Markezinis wrote that things are mostly bad here, apologizing for that, but stated that life is still worth it. He wrote that it is worth it for the small things, including laughter after staying up late with people who will come into his life.
He added that it is worth it for the first days of love when your stomach reaches your back and nothing else on Earth matters except her, as well as for the pride felt in winning a few battles. He also wrote that it is worth it for when the people take power, noting that they have time to discuss those matters later.
Markezinis advised his son not to stress too much during impasses, noting that no beaten path exists. He stated that he is roughly in the middle himself and has not figured things out, adding that no one really has, even if many like to fool themselves.
Asking his son not to be strict about the many mistakes he will make, Markezinis promised to give as much as he can, noting he has never been a father before. He added that if that is not enough, it will be his mother's fault for making him spoiled.
Concluding his message, Markezinis wished good seas to the new Meganisiot and wrote that he will be somewhere there watching him.
