Kimi Antonelli, the 19-year-old Formula 1 driver currently leading this year's championship, ran up a bill reported at around 50,000 euros during a party at the Nammos restaurant in Costa Esmeralda, Sardinia, on Saturday afternoon.

Many people at the restaurant recognized the young driver, wearing a white t-shirt and a cap turned backwards, as he walked into Nammos, which has been open in Sardinia since last year.

Antonelli arrived with a group of around twelve people and sat at the restaurant's most central table. The group did not limit themselves to the fresh fish they ordered to eat.

Who is Kimi Antonelli
Antonelli is regarded by many as the heir to Lewis Hamilton and is described as Toto Wolff's personal pick at Mercedes. He currently leads this year's Formula 1 championship standings.

The party at Nammos
The party picked up pace once Italian singer Alessandro Ristori began performing. A three-liter bottle of Clase Azul tequila was only the opening act.

It was followed by a "pyramid" of 20 bottles of Dom Perignon champagne, valued at 35,000 euros. Several women in Antonelli's group climbed onto the table and danced amid what was described as an atmosphere of general euphoria.
