Streaming service Hulu released the official trailer on Wednesday, October 7 for the second season of legal drama All's Fair, featuring star Kim Kardashian poking fun at her bar exam attempts.
The preview offers a first look at the star-studded ensemble cast of the legal series, which includes Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Glenn Close, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Paulson and Kardashian.
In the new footage, the lead characters are seen sipping wine, engaging in fierce rivalries and experiencing turbulence together on board a private jet.
In one scene from the trailer, Kardashian's character, Allura Grant, asks Teyana Taylor's character, Milan, if she has just passed the California bar examination. Milan responds that she is guilty as charged, leading Grant to joke that she did not pass on her first attempt.
Legal drama clashes and trailer highlights
Kardashian, who rose to fame as a reality television personality and businesswoman, has previously spoken in public life about her real-world legal studies and her efforts to pass the California bar exam.
Elsewhere in the preview, Glenn Close's character, Dina Standish, delivers a stern warning to her legal team, stating that revenge is a wild game and reminding them that they are women of law and order, adding that they must never forget it.
Tensions escalate between the attorneys when Sarah Paulson's character, Carrington Lane, verbally attacks Standish. Lane tells Standish that while she is not saying she hates her, she would unplug her life support system to charge her mobile phone, prompting Standish to slap her across the face.
Lane goes on to announce a planned takeover of the law firm Grant, Ronson & Greene. Before the trailer concludes, Lane throws another sharp comment at Standish, remarking that looking at her face reminds her of the Grand Canyon, which she describes as a wonderful trip, thanking her for the memory.
