Residents of Irkutsk have complained about mold and flooding following major overhauls of their apartment buildings. Telegram channel Babr Mash drew attention to the situation in the Russian city.
The complaints involve buildings located at 100 Mira Street and 20/17 Marshal Konev Street. According to residents of the first building, apartments became damp, covered in mold, and freezing after repairs to the facade and inter-panel seams.

At the second building, ceilings started leaking after rain following a roof update.
Regional response
When journalists asked the regional capital repair fund to clarify the situation, representatives asked for an official request and seven days to respond.
Earlier, residents of a five-story building in Krasnoyarsk also complained about rain leaking into their apartments.
