Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro and his stepmother Michelle Bolsonaro, a candidate for the Senate, have recorded a joint election campaign video following months of public disagreements.
Leaving the recording location in Brasília on Tuesday, former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro told journalists that the two had put their disagreements aside and united for something much larger for the nation, giving thanks to God.
Months of Dispute Resolved
The joint appearance follows a video published by Michelle Bolsonaro in June, in which she said she had been mistreated and humiliated by Flávio Bolsonaro. She stated in the video that the two had not spoken since the end of 2025 because of arguments.
The campaign collaboration comes as election coverage reports Lula da Silva leading ahead of Flávio Bolsonaro, the oldest son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, in the presidential race.
Flávio Bolsonaro has also requested that foreign ambassadors send observers to monitor the upcoming October presidential election due to concerns over potential manipulation.
