  • Ali Abbasi worked on the film “Holly Spider” for fifteen years. He wanted to shoot this film in Iran and Turkey, but it was impossible for political reasons. After all, he started shooting in Iran. The script was inspired by the case of a war veteran who murdered 16 women in Iran’s second largest city with the consent of part of society.
  • Sam Mendes directed “Empire of Light” from his own screenplay. About the film he says:

Most people’s personalities are formed in their teenage years. In my case, it was in the late 70s and early 80s: music, movies, pop culture of that period generally formed me. It was a period of great political upheaval in Britain, with drastic racial politics playing a large role at the time. But at the same time, it was an amazing era in music and culture in general – very creative, politicized and energetic. But when it comes to ‘Empire of Light’, it’s a movie that’s almost entirely born out of a pandemic. Lockdown was a period of intense self-discovery and reflection for all of us. And for me, it marked the beginning of a confrontation with memories that I had struggled with since childhood. It was an incentive to write – a desire to explore them and try to extract something interesting from them.

  • “Creed III” – After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed is very successful in his professional and private life. Meanwhile, he is challenged by his childhood friend and former boxing golden child, Damian (Jonathan Majors). After serving a long-term prison sentence, Damian is eager to try his hand at the ring. The clash of old friends is more than just a duel. In order to settle past scores, Adonis must put his future on the line. And Damian has nothing to lose.
  • “The Ikea Generation” is an adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same title by Piotr C. For the main character (played by Bartosz Gelner), casual sex, erotic fantasies and quick romances are the starting point for a story about the realities in which young people live today. Piotr is an employee of a law firm who led a minimalist lifestyle during his studies. It backfires now. When he’s not at the office, he’s on the hunt. Piotr is successful with women because of his appearance and style. Hedonistic, but not selfish. Subconsciously, he never wanted to be a man like his father: betraying his partner at every turn… The production is Dawid Gral’s feature debut.

  • “Perry Mason” is a story based on the character of the legendary attorney from the novel by Erle Stanley Gardner. One of the producers of the series is Robert Downey Jr., and the main role is played by Matthew Rhys (“Profession: American”). The first season was set in 1931, and in the second season, a few months after the end of the Dodson investigation, a scion of an influential family is brutally murdered. Perry, Della and Paul find themselves at the center of a case where conspiracies keep coming to light.
