Lydia Lamaison is the artistic name of Lidia Guastavino Lamaison, known from the theater, films and television. Her grace, charm and talent kept her working until she was 95. She was born in Mendoza on August 5, 1914 and died on February 20, 2012 in Buenos Aires at the age of 97. She was a stylish lady with bright blue eyes that lit up wherever she was. In the last years of her life, she could often be seen with a hat on her head. Every day after a vegetarian meal, she ended with a glass of champagne.
