Adviser to the President of Russia Elena Yampolskaya spoke out against unofficial screenings of foreign movies in Russian cinemas following a Spider-Man premiere dispute.

Yampolskaya commented on the scandal surrounding the postponed unofficial premiere of Spider-Man, which was delayed at the request of the distributor of the family movie Kolobok, reported Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Yampolskaya said she was generally always against unlicensed screenings. She stated that her committee tried to fight such shows because it is unclear what will actually be screened, adding that one title may be announced while something completely different is shown.
