Greek model Doukissa Nomikou joined international stars Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne on the runway at Paris Fashion Week on Monday evening.
Nomikou took part in the Le Défilé Walk Your Worth fashion show, organized by cosmetics brand L'Oréal Paris, on the evening of September 28. Following the event, she shared several moments from the show with her followers on Instagram.
Paris Fashion Week Runway Appearance
The Greek presenter appeared on the runway in a striking black gown designed with a dramatic contrast. The dress featured a mini length at the front, paired with a long train that swept the floor behind her, worn without additional accessories.
In the caption of her first social media post from the show, Nomikou advised her followers to dream big and never let anyone dim their shine.
In a second post, the model published another photograph from the event and noted that the occasion was dedicated to women.
Star-Studded Lineup and Celine Dion Performance
The Paris runway featured a star-studded lineup of global figures. Alongside Nomikou, Jenner, and Delevingne, the show included appearances by actresses Jane Fonda, Andie MacDowell, Viola Davis, and Eva Longoria, as well as supermodel Heidi Klum.
Canadian singer Celine Dion made a surprise appearance at the event, performing live on stage at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Dion closed the L'Oréal Paris 2026 show, with all participating models joining her on the podium to finish the spectacle.
Le Défilé is an annual public fashion show hosted by L'Oréal Paris during Paris Fashion Week. The event brings together international brand ambassadors from cinema, fashion, and music to promote female empowerment and self-worth.
Emotional Farewell to Family in Greece
Speaking on the television show First Coffee with Zina prior to her departure for France, Nomikou reflected on the significance of the Paris show. She noted that it marked her sixth appearance at Paris Fashion Week alongside iconic women.
Nomikou admitted to feeling nervous about sharing the runway with legendary figures such as Eva Longoria, Helen Mirren, Jane Fonda, Cara Delevingne, and Kendall Jenner. She described the event as clearly the most important runway appearance of her career and expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity.
However, the trip also proved emotionally challenging for Nomikou, who confessed that leaving Greece was difficult because the show coincided with her daughter's birthday.
She explained that it was the first time she felt so sad departing, as both her daughter and her son, Savvas, pleaded with her not to leave. While acknowledging that their reaction made the departure harder than on previous trips, she added that it was valuable for her children to see her working hard to achieve her dreams.
Nomikou, a former Miss Star Hellas winner and prominent Greek television personality, has built a career in modeling and broadcasting in Greece while raising her family in Athens.
