Biviana Riveiro was sworn in on Wednesday as executive vice president of Fiduciaria Reservas, a company under Grupo Reservas that structures and manages public and private trusts.

Riveiro was sworn in by Banreservas executive president Leonardo Aguilera, who highlighted her experience in investment promotion, business development and institutional management.
Aguilera said Riveiro's appointment would help strengthen Fiduciaria Reservas' leadership in a market that has grown more significant because of its role in structuring and managing trusts for investment, infrastructure and real estate development projects.
According to a press release, Aguilera said Riveiro's incorporation represented an important step in continuing to strengthen Fiduciaria Reservas, adding that her experience, leadership and commitment to national development would be key to consolidating an institution that plays a strategic role in structuring projects that drive the Dominican Republic's economic growth.
Taking on the role, Riveiro thanked those who had placed their trust in her and said she was committed to continuing to strengthen the institution and to promoting solutions that boost investment and economic growth.
Riveiro said it was a true honor to join the Familia Reservas and to take on responsibility for leading an institution so important to the country's development. She said she would put all her experience and dedication toward Fiduciaria Reservas to keep advancing solutions that build trust, promote investment and contribute to the growth of the Dominican Republic.
Career background
Riveiro is a lawyer with a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). She holds postgraduate studies in corporate business law, business economics, corporate governance and persuasive leadership.
Before this appointment, Riveiro served as executive director of the Dominican Republic's Export and Investment Center (ProDominicana), where she led initiatives to strengthen national exports and attract foreign investment. She also held positions at the Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel) and served as executive director of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE).
