Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has visited the western Ukrainian cities of Lviv and Ternopil, according to a report published by news agency UNIAN.

The 51-year-old celebrity was spotted in both locations, although the specific purpose of her visit to the two Ukrainian cities remains undisclosed. News of her arrival in the region was initially shared by the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency UNIAN on its official Telegram messaging channel.
Lviv and Ternopil are major urban centers situated in western Ukraine. Jolie is a prominent American actress and filmmaker who has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award and three Golden Globe Awards. Outside her screen career, she is widely known for her extensive international humanitarian work, having served for years as a Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
Personal life and recent statements
Her appearance in Ukraine comes after Jolie spoke openly regarding her private life, stating that she has not been in a romantic relationship for ten years. She revealed that she has not dated anyone since her separation a decade ago, explaining that she has accepted that romance has taken a back seat in her life.
The actress reflected that life had broken her a little bit over the years. However, she emphasized that as her children grow older, she feels ready to reconsider her outlook, begin living again, and enjoy her personal freedom.
Marriage and legal proceedings
Jolie was previously married to fellow Hollywood star Brad Pitt. The couple married in 2014, but Jolie filed for divorce two years later in 2016 while accusing her husband of domestic violence.
Pitt is an Oscar-winning American actor and film producer who co-starred with Jolie in the 2005 action film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Their separation led to a lengthy legal dispute that lasted for eight years before their divorce was officially finalized in 2024.
