Ana de Armas attends Paris Fashion Week with new partner

Ana de Armas has made a public appearance with her new partner, Venezuelan musician Beto Montenegro, during Paris Fashion Week.

The 38-year-old actress and the singer were seen heading to a Louis Vuitton event together in the French capital on Tuesday, October 6.

They were photographed and filmed walking hand in hand. De Armas wore a black leather jacket with tall boots, while Montenegro was dressed in a khaki jacket, brown trousers and fuchsia shoes.

Their joint outing comes nearly a year after the actress ended her relationship with Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.

Rawayana frontman

Montenegro is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for Rawayana, a band he co-founded in 2007. The group blends reggae, funk, rock and pop with Caribbean influences. They have achieved international recognition and won Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.

Rumours of a relationship between the musician and the actress first began circulating around two months ago. While the exact start date of their romance has not been made public, reports suggest they were also seen together in July.

De Armas, who rose to prominence in films such as Knives Out and No Time to Die, travelled to Paris for the Louis Vuitton showcase in her capacity as a brand ambassador. She has collaborated with the French luxury house for several years and became a face of its jewellery collection in 2023.

Split from Tom Cruise

The actress previously dated Cruise for approximately nine months. News of their separation emerged last October. A source close to the former couple stated that the decision to split was made by de Armas, as certain situations made her feel uncomfortable.

Their relationship began after they spent almost every day together preparing for physically demanding scenes in their upcoming joint film Deeper. Production on the movie is currently frozen.
