Peruvian businessman Alonso Grimaldo has denied taking influencer Carla Campos Salazar to an Airbnb after the two were recorded dancing together at a nightclub in Miraflores, Lima. Appearing on the Peruvian television program Magaly TV, la firme, Grimaldo stated that he accompanied Campos Salazar directly to her home in the early hours of the morning.
Grimaldo addressed widespread rumors suggesting that the pair had spent the night at a rental property following their outing. He explained that they left the venue together between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., but maintained that he only drove Campos Salazar, who is the former fiancée of political streamer Curwen, back to her residence.
During his interview with television host Magaly Medina, Grimaldo acknowledged that his conduct on the dance floor was questionable. He admitted that their actions were inappropriate given that Campos Salazar was in a relationship at the time with Curwen, the host of the digital political commentary program Brutalidad politica. Grimaldo stated that it was something they should not have done, emphasizing that she was in a committed relationship.
Nightclub Video Expose and Shared Travel
The conversation on Medina's show touched on further details of the video scandal, locally known as an ampay. When Medina questioned Grimaldo about whether he had kissed Campos Salazar during the recorded encounter, the engineer surprised the host by responding that he and Campos Salazar share a high degree of trust. Grimaldo also addressed his financial earnings following the media exposure, stating that he aims to use his current platform to contribute something positive to society.
Grimaldo also referenced previous revelations that he and Campos Salazar had traveled together to Máncora, a popular beach destination in northern Peru, where he said they stayed in a shared room. However, the businessman made clear on Medina's program that this interview would be the final time he speaks publicly about the nightclub incident.

Curwen's public comments followed statements by Campos Salazar in which she denied any infidelity, a reaction that subsequently prompted the streamer to distance himself from her.
Addressing his online audience, Curwen stated that viewers could watch whatever they wanted, think what they wished, and draw their own conclusions regarding the nightclub video. He added that he did not intend to use the situation to speak negatively about Campos Salazar, asserting that anyone expecting him to publicly criticize her would not see him do so.
