Greece's Independent Authority for Public Revenue, known as AADE, has issued 30 detailed clarifications to resolve frequent technical problems encountered by farmers during the submission of the 2026 Single Application for Aid.
The official guidance addresses electronic lease contracts, inheritance rules, property tax registry numbers, livestock records, crop subsidy requests and system connections across the digital myAGRO platform.
Under current rules, Greek agricultural producers must register their land parcels and farming operations electronically to qualify for European Union subsidies under the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023 through 2027. AADE serves as the national revenue agency responsible for integrating tax registry data, property holdings and business transactions into digital agricultural management portals.
Land leases and manual entry rules
Addressing joint property leases, AADE stated that when a land lease involves multiple co-lessors, the myAGRO platform retrieves all lessor details from tax lease information declarations. Producers are required to enter at least one Property Tax Assessment Number, known as an ATAK, if none was recorded on the initial tax filing, while adding ATAKs for other co-lessors remains optional. The authority confirmed that farmers do not need to modify existing contracts or draft new leases, and no penalties will be imposed.
Electronic leases appear automatically in myAGRO provided they have been registered with tax authorities and have not been rejected, regardless of whether explicit formal acceptance was completed. The platform displays active leases valid on May 31, 2026, which is the deadline by which land parcels must be at the producer's disposal.
If a valid lease fails to load automatically, producers can enter the details manually to prevent delays, without needing to attach paper documents. However, myAGRO only retrieves leases designated for agricultural use, meaning commercial leases for facilities such as livestock stables will not appear automatically and must be entered manually if relevant to farming operations.
AADE confirmed that old paper lease contracts can still be converted into electronic filings without incurring penalties, referencing previous administrative decisions and an official press release issued on August 29, 2026. For handwritten leases carried over from the 2025 application cycle, filings remain valid after May 31, 2026, though expired agreements renewed under new terms must be re-registered on the platform.
When producers update property details on their E9 tax forms, changes synchronize with myAGRO within one hour. For draft applications temporarily saved on the platform, modified E9 data does not overwrite saved entries automatically, but farmers can update records by removing and re-entering only the affected ownership lines rather than deleting the entire parcel.
Property ownership and inheritance declarations
The revenue agency issued specific directives for land parcels subject to pending inheritance proceedings. If a property owner died on or after January 1, 2026, an heir registered in the tax database can submit the 2026 Single Application for Aid under the tax identification number of the deceased individual.
For leased land where the owner died on or after January 1, 2026, existing lease agreements remain valid, and tenants can select inheritance as the official reason for unconfirmed property numbers. If the landowner passed away on or before December 31, 2025, tenants must execute a new lease contract with the legal heirs. Where an heir personally farms land inherited from an owner who died on or before December 31, 2025, the parcel must be declared on the heir's E9 tax form regardless of whether formal inheritance acceptance is complete.
AADE noted that general exemptions from supplying property assessment numbers or Cadastre codes due to an owner's death are not permitted. Furthermore, the myAGRO application does not support direct land transfers between transferors and recipients, requiring each farmer to declare all owned, rented or mixed parcels directly under their own profile.
System issues involving numerical rounding when calculating ownership percentages among co-owners have been resolved. In addition, parcels designated as forest land that appear as public lands in the National Cadastre are not automatically barred from aid applications, but producers must state their specific reason for using the associated Cadastre code, known as a KAEK.
Property tax codes and Cadastre mapping rules
Regarding property code matching, AADE clarified that leased parcels allow multiple National Cadastre codes to be linked to a single property tax assessment number. For self-used parcels, strict one-to-one matching applies between assessment numbers and Cadastre codes, though owners correcting E9 forms to fix discrepancies will not face fines.
The agency stated that no mapping tolerance is granted if digitized parcel areas exceed registry figures. In areas with an active Cadastre, digitized parcel dimensions must not exceed assigned Cadastre code boundaries, and in non-active areas, digitized land cannot exceed the surface area declared under the property tax assessment number.
Mapping on myAGRO requires producers to digitize eligible parcel boundaries against 2026 pure crop cover mapping baselines, adhering to Governor Decision A.1161 issued on August 3, 2026. A supplementary release from September 15, 2026, allows farmers to select unconfirmed land status reasons from a dropdown menu to complete submissions prior to government verification. Minimum geospatial overlap rules mandate that declared Cadastre areas meet or exceed digitized areas without overlapping another producer's claim, while administrative and on-site risk inspections remain active.
In cases where neighboring parcels overlap on the mapping tool, producer identities remain confidential under privacy regulations. Farmers can use an internal resolution tool to adjust boundary digitization, while technical teams evaluate an automated notification feature to help neighboring landholders resolve spatial disputes by mutual agreement. Overlaps between parcels belonging to the same producer now permit temporary application saving, blocking submission only at finalization.
Agricultural aid eligibility and crop rules
Concerning subsidy claims, AADE confirmed that technical errors hindering coupled aid registration for soybean crops have been resolved. Coupled aid eligibility for barley and soft wheat listed under miscellaneous seed varieties has been deactivated, with administrative guidelines drafted for affected submissions.
Farmers applying for young farmer support under Intervention 201 must be 40 years of age or younger. However, producers who were approved as beneficiaries in 2022 or later retain eligibility even if they have since exceeded the age limit of 40.
No operational limits apply to redistributive aid claims, allowing producers to apply regardless of total farm size or entitlement rights to basic income support. For transhumant livestock producers whose seasonal migration stables failed to load from 2025 records, facilities must be re-registered manually on myAGRO.
Producers declaring crop varieties eligible for coupled aid that lack direct matches with Hellenic Agricultural Insurance Organization premium lists must submit inquiries through the my1521 portal. Bulk seed card data must be uploaded using Excel templates, which overwrite previous files upon re-uploading, though supporting documents and seed files can be attached after finalizing the main application.
Producers operating greenhouses must complete mandatory coverage entries under the crop coverage tab, choosing categories 01 through 09 based on structure type. Open-field crops require selecting category 00 for uncovered land.
System integration and technical updates
Integrating with other government databases, myAGRO automatically pulls purchase and sales invoices recorded in the myDATA electronic bookkeeping system. New entries uploaded to myDATA update the myAGRO platform within two hours.
The system retrieves full ownership and usufruct rights from E9 property records, but excludes bare ownership rights because they do not grant immediate usage or cultivation rights. Revisions to E9 records submitted after May 31, 2026, are recognized for land parcels located in regions with pending Cadastre registrations.
Technical fixes have eliminated initialization errors that previously locked fields for mountainous, disadvantaged and title origin classifications. Fertilizer entries can now be recorded in both liters and kilograms, while document upload limits have been increased to 15 megabytes.
AADE stated that technical teams are resolving display bugs affecting eco-scheme 31.9 across individual parcels. The authority remains in continuous contact with agricultural representatives and filing centers, advising producers with unresolved issues to submit detailed tax numbers, parcel figures and error screenshots to the my1521 portal.
