Xiaomi has cut the price of its Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet to 218 euros on AliExpress España, more than 200 euros below its official 450-euro retail price.
Apple's iPad remains the preferred tablet for millions of people worldwide, but the report said the Xiaomi Pad 7 has little to envy from it. The outlet noted it had previously tested the higher-end Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro and came away with a good impression.
The 218-euro price applies to the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which Xiaomi sells for 450 euros through its official store. Shoppers must enter the coupon code "ESSC20" at checkout to get the discount.
The AliExpress listing ships directly from Spain, with delivery promised within two days. Buyers can pay through PayPal and split the cost into three interest-free installments.
Display and performance
The tablet has an 11.2-inch screen with a resolution of 3.2K, equivalent to 3,200 by 2,136 pixels. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and brightness of up to 800 nits.
Inside, the Xiaomi Pad 7 runs on a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM, which the report said handles video games as well as browsing, YouTube, Netflix, office work and multitasking. The 256 GB of internal storage uses the UFS 4.0 standard, leaving room for many apps, photos and videos.
Battery and design
The tablet carries a battery of almost 9,000 mAh with 45W fast charging. Battery life varies depending on use, since watching a series draws less power than playing a demanding game such as Genshin Impact.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 measures 6.18 millimeters thick and weighs about 500 grams. Its 3:2 aspect ratio makes it suited to reading PDF files, taking notes and working with office applications. The device includes four speakers and runs Android with Xiaomi's HyperOS customization layer.
