Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles struck the Volgogradpromproekt chemical plant in the Russian city of Volgograd on September 11, completely destroying one of its workshop buildings, according to the Telegram-based monitoring channel Exilenova+.
The monitors said the strike destroyed a production building covering roughly 380 square metres, a claim they said was confirmed by a published photograph. The destroyed section formed part of the plant's main workshop, measuring 20 by 15 metres.
Volgogradpromproekt produces ferrocene-based combustion catalysts and develops chemical production technologies for Russian industry, according to the monitors. Its products are used in Russia's aviation, shipbuilding and specialised industrial sectors.

The Flamingo, designated FP-5, is a long-range cruise missile developed in Ukraine that has been used in recent months to strike targets deep inside Russian territory.
Other recent strikes on Russian oil facilities
Ukraine's outlet UNIAN reported that Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate said a strike on September 13 hit the Slavyansk-EKO oil refinery in Slavyansk-na-Kubani, Russia, damaging a key oil-processing unit and the plant's tank farm. The directorate said thick smoke and the glow of a large fire at the refinery were visible from dozens of kilometres away.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed strikes on two refineries in Russia: the Slavyansky refinery in Krasnodar region and the Taneco plant in Nizhnekamsk, in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Strikes on military infrastructure
Ukrainian forces also carried out a series of strikes on Russian military infrastructure on September 12 and overnight into September 13. In occupied Donetsk, Ukrainian troops hit a base Russian forces used for storing, configuring and launching strike drones. Targets in the occupied part of Kherson region and in Crimea were also hit. In Russia's Bryansk region, a radar station used for target tracking was struck near the settlement of Rovny, while a site storing weapons and military equipment was hit near Rechitsa.
