Why are children imprisoned in Russia?

In this scenario, thousands of people are repressed and imprisoned for going against the orders of the government in power. And now, this multitude of prisoners, without any discrimination, includes children.

This was revealed by one of the mothers of the affected children, Ekaterina Zaviziona Russian citizen who narrated her horror story on her personal Facebook account, describing that after watching the videos about the recent bombings in the city of Kharkov, Ukraine, she felt that she could not sit idly by.

Ekaterina and her friend Olga, accompanied by their children, attended a peaceful protest in Moscow. She explained what the terrible experience she lived with her two children was like, during 4 long hours in a police station. “I tried to reassure my children, telling them that we were together and safe”, but Ekaterina does not forget the threat from the police, who told her that they could report her if she “endangers her children”.

“Hell is becoming a habit,” said the young mother, describing the Russian police forces’ persecution of people protesting against the war.

How many are the children detained?
