Four Israeli soldiers were injured this Monday, one of them seriouslyon the northern border of Israel with Lebanon due to an “explosion of unknown origin,” the Army reported in a brief statement.

According to the military note, an Israeli uniformed man has been “seriously injured”, the other two suffered moderate injuries and the fourth minor injuries as a result of the explosion, about which no further details were offered, nor the place where it occurred.

The Army has limited itself to ensuring that the incident is being investigated and that the soldiers were evacuated to a hospital. On the other hand, Israeli warplanes attacked several targets of the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollahincluding “a rocket launch site, military infrastructure and structures” in the southern regions of Sediqine, Matmura, Labouneh and Ayt al Shab.

Likewise, Israeli soldiers launched an attack in the areas of Ayta Al Shab and Labouneh to “end threats in these areas“, noted another military note that did not offer more information.

Hezbollah and Israel are engaged in a daily exchange of fire which is feared could overflow at any moment, and which began on October 8, one day after the outbreak of Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Army confirmed on Saturday that one of its reservists was also “seriously” injured on the northern border with Lebanon, in that case, in a drone attack in the western Galilee, claimed by Hezbollah.
