Olympic cross-country champion Natalya Terentyeva will become a mother. This was announced by the head of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), Elena Vyalbe, whose words are reported by the “Championship”.
“It’s no secret that Natalya and Alexander Terentyev are waiting for a new addition. I hope we will soon see Natasha in a new capacity,” said Vyalbe. The couple got married in August 2023.
Terentyeva (nee Nepryaeva) is an Olympic champion and three-time Olympic medalist, three-time world championship medalist, as well as the first Russian skier to win the overall standings of the Tour de Ski multi-day race. In the 2021/2022 season, she won the overall World Cup ahead of schedule and won the big Crystal Globe.
Terentyev won two bronze medals at the Olympic Games in Beijing. He was on the podium in the freestyle sprint and in the team classic sprint together with Alexander Bolshunov.
