China denounces the “dangerous” US practice of “inventing enemies”

“This practice of inventing enemies out of thin air is strategically very dangerous. “China firmly opposes this practice,” the spokesperson added.

Wu assured that Beijing does not want “threaten anyone”but also stated that they are not afraid of “threats from anyone.”

“The development and growth of the Chinese military cannot be stopped by any person or force,” the spokesperson added.

The meeting with the US delegation took place in a context of thaw between both powers after months of commercial, technological and geopolitical hostilities.
