This Sunday, the French Government raised the terrorist alert level at maximum in response to attempt perpetrated on Friday against a concert hall outside of Moscow in which at least 137 people died and who claimed the Islamic State just three hours after it occurred.
“Given the claim of responsibility by the Islamic State for the attack and the threats that weigh on our country, we have decided to raise the level of Vigipirate to its highest level: attack emergency,” published the French Prime Minister, Gabriel Attalon his account on X, formerly Twitter.
The decision was made after a meeting of the French Security Council chaired by the head of state, Emmanuel Macron, and held this afternoon at the Elysée Palace. The event was dedicated “to the Moscow attack and its consequences.”
