The Satanic Temple of America, an organization registered in the registry of North American religious entities, has announced its intention to appeal the new abortion law approved in the state of Texas. According to the satanists, the new law violates their religious freedom.
The group also announces its “willingness to help” any of its members who are willing to fight this law and for which it is lobbying for exempt from complianceor relying on the Texas Religious Liberty Restoration Act, explains Templo Satanico on its website. “I’m sure Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton will be proud to see that the strong Texas religious liberty laws, which he so strongly upholds, will prevent future abortion rituals from being interrupted by superfluous government restrictions, “said the co-founder and spokesman of the Satanic Temple, Lucien Greaves, in a message posted on social networks.
