Embassy of Turkey in Ecuador receives aid for earthquake victims

Two large-magnitude earthquakes affected several regions of Turkey and Syria on Monday, leaving a preliminary balance of more than 5,000 deaths.

Search and rescue tasks are currently underway in both nations and the situation has motivated international groups to join them.

Shared images of the affected areas show the serious damage to infrastructure, with buildings and houses collapsed.
