Judge Rosmery Lourdes Pabón maintained the preventive measures that were initially taken, alleging a significant risk of flight by Camacho, for which reason he should remain in prison.
For his part, prosecutor Omar Mejillones pointed out that the accusation of terrorism would be justified since the opposition leader went to the Palacio Quemado in 2019 to bring Morales a letter requesting his resignation, and he did so accompanied by police who escorted him.
Camacho appeared calm on camera during the judge’s resolution, and he could be seen smoking from a vape and drinking from a cup in the place where he is being held.
“There is no risk of me running away”alleged the opposition leader in a short participation during the judicial process.
