The first half ended with the score zero. Brazil had good arrivals with crosses to the area. The main Brazilian opportunity came in the 35th minute, when Vitor Roque received it in conditions to finish, but was stopped. After the tackle, the ball fell to Guilherme Biro, who kicked over the crossbar.
Back from Interval, Brazil improved and opened the scoring. In the 23rd minute, Marlon Gomes crossed into the area and Luis Guilherme scored with a header. The ball landed at Vitor Roque’s foot and the attacker tapped in with his left foot to fill the net and open the scoring.
The national team extended the score to 30. Andrey Gomes kicked from outside the area and was cut in the middle of the path. On the rebound, the steering wheel touched head towards the goal. Before entering the goal, the Vasco player also told of a mistake by the Peruvian goalkeeper, who left to share with Luis Guilherme and let the ball pass. At 35 minutes, Vitor Roque was brought down inside the area and a penalty was awarded. He even hit and scored the third for Brazil.
