A three-year-old boy and his grandmother were injured when a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone struck the hamlet of Pervomaisky in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district of Russia's Belgorod region, according to the regional operational headquarters, which reported the strike via the Max messaging channel.

The operational headquarters said the boy suffered multiple shrapnel wounds, while his grandmother sustained a penetrating abdominal injury.
Both were taken to the Krasnoyaruzhsky Central District Hospital, where their condition is described as severe. After receiving necessary treatment, the child will be transferred to the regional children's clinical hospital and the woman to the Rakityanskaya Central District Hospital, the headquarters added.
Earlier strike near Belgorod
It was previously reported that a Ukrainian drone struck near a playground outside Belgorod. In that incident, a 13-year-old schoolboy could not be saved.
