The first finalists of the Spain 2022 eAwards: a simulator to learn to speak in public and a system that reduces the fuel consumption of trucks

The first two finalists of the 21st edition of the eAwards Spain organized by NTT DATA FOUNDATIONthe startups Chiara Y Eco Wind Top Systems, have found innovative solutions to two problems that affect a majority of the population. Chiara has developed a virtual reality simulator to reduce the fear of public speaking that 80% of citizens suffer from. For its part, Eco Eolic Top Systems, with a technology similar to that applied in the aeronautical industry, can offer a reduction of up to 25% in fuel costs for trucks.

Chiara It is a training through virtual reality to improve the ability to speak and speak in public. The application allows the practice of speech in real scenarios with the digital twin and processes the information by decomposing the sound, using Artificial Intelligence and the development of its own algorithms based on 200,000 combinations.

Eco Wind Top Systems, the second finalist in the eAwards Spain, is an equally Spanish company that applies the lifting effect to trucks, by implanting a device in the upper part of the vehicles, which uses the wind energy produced by displacement to lighten the Weight of the load. By reducing the weight of the load during the trip, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 25%, in addition to reducing tire, brake and engine wear, which significantly reduces pollution.

In addition to the one held in Madrid, NTT DATA FOUNDATION organizes other three Spanish semi-finals which will take place in the month of September in Bilbao (8), Valencia (13) and Oviedo (15).

A maximum of eight of the 42 semi-finalist projects will access the final of the eAwards Spain.
