The most expensive Apple smartphone in 2022 will receive eight gigabytes of RAM. It is reported by MacRumors.
Journalists refer to a message from an anonymous insider that appeared on the South Korean blog Naver. The author predicted that smartphones of the premium iPhone 14 series will receive a record amount of RAM – eight gigabytes. The insider cited his own sources in the iPhone supply chain.
Experts noted that an increase in the RAM of Apple smartphones at the end of 2021 was predicted by an analyst at Haitong International Securities Jeff Pu. According to him, eight gigabytes of RAM should get the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, the most advanced and expensive Apple smartphones, which are expected to be released in the fall of 2022.
The current iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max have six gigabytes of RAM. Increasing this parameter of smartphones should have a positive effect on device performance. “Base iPhones tend to have less storage, so it’s likely that the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max will have less than eight gigabytes of storage,” the authors said.
In mid-January, analyst Ross Young said that the ProMotion feature will remain a hallmark of expensive iPhones. The ProMotion option allows you to display a picture on the screen at a frequency of up to 120 hertz.
