The second person involved in the case of beating police officers at the Tulskaya metro station in Moscow was detained. This is reported by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.
“In the course of the joint work of the investigators of the Moscow Investigative Committee and the employees of the criminal investigation department, the location of the second suspect, born in 2003, was quickly established, he was detained in accordance with Art. 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, investigative actions are being carried out with him, ”the message says.
On February 17, 2022, at the Tulskaya station of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line of the Moscow metro, a man refused to go to the police room to identify him and began waving his arms and pushing the police. The second passenger “deliberately kicked one policeman in the torso area, and another with several punches in the head area, after which he fled.”
A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a representative of authority).
The first defendant, a young man born in 2000, was charged.
