The General Staff of the Polish Army announced that Brigadier General Krzysztof Kociuba was selected by the Alliance Military Committee for the position of Chief of Staff of the NATO Communications and Information Technology Agency (NCI Agency – NCIA).

Representatives of 32 Alliance member states participated in the secret vote. In addition to the Polish general, generals from the Netherlands, France and Italy also took part in the competition. The three-year term of office of General Krzysztof Kociuba will begin in March 2025. He will be the first Polish general in this position.
