This Friday, Udinese hired German coach Kosta Runjaic to replace Italian Fabio Cannavaro, world champion in 2006 as a player, who only lasted two months in charge of the team.

“Udinese are proud to announce Kosta Runjaic as their new coach for next season,” the club said in a statement.
Cannavaro, whose departure was announced last week, managed Udinese in just five games despite only suffering one defeat and avoiding relegation.
After being led by three coaches during the season, Udinese finished the last edition of the Italian Championship in 15th place.
Runjaic, 53, has never managed a Serie A club. Last season, he managed Legia Warsaw, from which he was fired in April, despite winning the Polish Cup.
With this announcement, there are now ten clubs in the Italian first division that have changed coaches in this market, a number that could rise to 13 before next season.
