Bloomberg: Apple will not present a single gadget at WWDC on June 10
Apple will hold an event on June 10, but will not announce any new devices. Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman reports.
According to Gurman, on the opening day of the traditional developer conference, Apple will not announce any devices. Mark Gurman said that the American company will not present a single gadget at all during the event, which starts on June 10 and will last until June 14.
The specialist admitted that Apple could suddenly introduce a product – announce it now, and release it in six months or later. However, Gurman’s sources reported that the corporation does not yet have such plans.
In particular, the release of a new generation of Apple TV set-top boxes was expected at WWDC. However, the IT giant will most likely focus on new versions of operating systems – for iPhone smartphones, Mac computers, iPad tablets, Apple Watches and other devices. Also, part of the presentation will be devoted to artificial intelligence.
Earlier, Counterpoint Research specialists said that the leader in the global folding smartphone market has changed. Samsung’s place was taken by Chinese Huawei, which received a 35 percent share.
