iPhone 15 Plus fell in price in Russia

An affordable Apple smartphone with a large display has fallen in price on the Russian market. The publication Hi-Tech Mail.ru drew attention to this.

Media journalists noticed that at the end of May it became possible to buy an iPhone 15 Plus for 84 thousand rubles. At the start of sales – in conditions of shortage – the device was available for 140 thousand rubles. The authors noted that the cost of the device decreased by an average of 35 percent.

Experts called the cheaper gadget a relatively affordable device: “Compare the price of the iPhone 15 Plus with the cost of another modern iPhone with a large screen – the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. The difference in price is colossal.” For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro Max costs about 110 thousand rubles in Russia.

Released in the fall of 2023, the smartphone received a 6.7-inch OLED display, 6 gigabytes of RAM, and at least 128 gigabytes of internal memory. The 15 Plus has an A16 Bionic processor, a dual camera with 48 and 12 megapixel lenses, and a 12 megapixel front camera. The smartphone is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 4383 milliamp-hours.

Earlier it became known that the iPhone 15, presented in the fall of 2023, had fallen in price. At the start of sales it was available for 125-170 thousand rubles, at the end of May it dropped in price to 70 thousand rubles.
