Two weeks after it was reported in Venezuela that the Améstica brothers were the “authors” of the murders of Tirone González, Canserbero; and from his friend Carlos Molnar, the same Attorney General of that country, Tarek William Saab, announced that seven people were charged in the infamous case.

In addition to Natalia Améstica, the former manager of Canserbero and wife of Molnar; and her brother Guillermo, one of the suspects is the pathologist, who was arrested at the end of December 2023.

Canserbero and Molnar were murdered on January 19, 2015.

Who are the suspects in the Canserbero case?

Through its social networks, Saab indicated on Monday, January 8, 2023, the crimes that those involved in the double crime that took place in the Camino Real building in Maracay, the capital of the state of Aragua, near Caracas, will face.

1 and 2) The Améstica brothers

María Natalia Améstica and Guillermo Améstica They were charged with five crimes: murder qualified with treason and for futile reasons to the extent of co-authorship, obstruction of justice, simulation of a criminal act, false statement before a public official and association to commit a crime.

In videos released by the Venezuelan Public Prosecutor’s Office on December 26, 2023, Natalia Améstica “admitted that before attacking them, she put them to sleep at Alpram.” Then he stabbed them.

His brother Guillermo arrived at the apartment after contacting Natalia. He appeared with three officials of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) “who advised him on changing the location of the event in exchange for a thousand dollars each,” the MP published on his site.

To build the murder-suicide hypothesis: “Guillermo stabbed Molnar and hit Canserbero’s body with a pipe that disfigured his face, to simulate a fight between them.”

3) Marco Pratolongo

7) The forensic pathologist

Solángela Mendoza is under investigation for crimes including obstruction of justice, concealment and involvement in the commission of a crime.

Regarding his work as coroner, Saab said on December 26: “I want you to explain to me how a professional pathologist failed to report at the autopsy the two stab wounds or the punch to Canserbero’s face that Guillermo gave him.”

When the Venezuelan Association of Forensic Medicine learned of Mendoza’s arrest, it expressed its rejection of “the illegal detention,” a former lawmaker, Zair Mundaray, said on their networks. And the Bar Association of Aragua indicated that it would follow up and support the case of the arrest of Solángela Mendoza, journalist Carmen Elisa Pecorelli reported on her networks.

According to the head of the Venezuelan Public Prosecution Service, “the name Canserbero is being vindicated on a global scale, against those who tried to smear his name as a murderer; a suicidal and insane schizophrenic. They are going to pay for this serious crime because they also wanted to kill him morally. “They didn’t succeed, the truth always wins.”
