The tragic geopolitical and religious conflict between Palestine and Israel continues to claim lives, and one of the most notable victims in recent hours is Shani Louk, whose tragic case was once again highlighted in the media following the announcement of his death.

It was on October 7 when a video leaked on social networks in which members of the Hamas group celebrated their massive attack on Israel, showing the unconscious and semi-naked body of the young woman in a truck.

According to Bio Bio Chile, Shani was a well-known 22-year-old German-Israeli influencer, who lived in Tel Aviv and devoted herself to her work as a tattoo artist, designer and stylist.

On her social networks she had about 45,000 followers, with whom she also shared the anecdotes and the best moments of the trips she made with her Mexican friend Orión Hernández, who is still missing after the wave of kidnappings orchestrated by Hamas in the Nova Festival, according to The Nation.

It was precisely the tattoos on her body and the dreadlocks in her hair that made her family recognize her in the video that went viral a few weeks ago, when her mother still claimed she was alive.

Confirmation of Shani Louk’s death

As El Periódico published, it was Shani Louk’s own family who confirmed his death, information they received firsthand from the Israeli government.

“I am very sorry to report that we have received news that the death of Shani Nicole Louk has been confirmed. Her skull has been found,” said Israeli President Yitzchak Herzog, announcing that the young woman had been beheaded and that they had been able to find the base of her skull.
