Named the main reason for buying iPhone 15

Users of smartphones on iOS and Android can buy a new Apple smartphone due to the appearance of a USB-C connector. This is reported in a study by SellCell.

Before the release of the iPhone 15, analysts at a used smartphone sales and purchase firm surveyed 1,000 Apple device users and 1,000 Android device owners. It follows from the survey that the presence of a universal USB-C port may be the main reason for purchasing a gadget.

So, 63 percent of iPhone owners said they would buy a new Apple device because of USB-C. 37 percent of those surveyed who want to buy an iPhone 15 said they want to charge their phone and computer from one cable. Another 30 percent of users noted that they are glad that the iPhone will be compatible with chargers from other manufacturers.

44 percent of Android users said they would like to buy an iPhone 15 because of USB-C. Of these, almost 36 percent of respondents noted the convenience of charging a smartphone and other devices with one wire.

Earlier, Bloomberg journalists said that Apple planned to release updated wireless headphones with a new USB-C connector. USB-C will also receive iPhone 15 smartphones, which are scheduled for release on September 12.
