In January 2022, Penelope William and a subject (Patient A) were in a car outside Spire Hospital in North Wales, ABC reported on July 4, 2023.

The so-called Patient A died while they had a sexual encounter. The death, the same medium said, was due to “heart failure and chronic kidney disease”.

When the man presented the “syncope”, the woman called a colleague and suggested calling an ambulance.

The nurse made another mistake: she lied about why she was with the man who died in those circumstances. At first she said he contacted her on Facebook and told her he felt bad.

Later, according to ABC, she said she and the patient arranged to meet in the parking lot and have an intimate time.

The woman’s versions came and went… in a third statement, she stated that they were both talking and after more than half an hour the subject “suddenly died”.

Finally, for the fourth version he offered, “he acknowledged the sexual encounter and had not called an ambulance even when advised to do so.”

In response to the nurse’s action, which is far from what is expected of a health professional, Penelope William received some harsh sanctions: “she has been dismissed with immediate effect and is disqualified from the profession”

According to The Guardian, the event has been analyzed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) panel.

It found that “the findings in this particular case demonstrate that Ms. Williams’s actions were so serious that allowing her to continue practicing would undermine public confidence in the profession and in the NMC as a regulatory body. ”
