RIA Novosti: iPhone 14 series smartphones fell in price on the Russian market
Russian retailers have recorded price cuts for new Apple smartphones. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
The price of iPhone 14 series smartphones fell by 12 percent, according to interviewed industry participants. Representatives of the Price.ru service said that the prices for the iPhone 14 Plus and 14 Pro fell the most. So, the iPhone 14 Plus with a 128 gigabyte drive fell in price by 23 percent – to 82,482 rubles, with a 512 gigabyte drive – by 19 percent, to 109,725 rubles.
M.Video-Eldorado said that prices for current Apple phones are below last year’s level. The company clarified that the most popular on the market among the new smartphones were pro-models. “For many iPhone 14 models, the price has decreased by up to 17 percent compared to their cost in September last year,” MTS said.
Tele2 noted that, on average, prices for iPhone 14 devices decreased by 11 percent. In the MegaFon and Yota networks, new Apple devices fell in price by about 10 percent.
In mid-June, it became known that the cost of the iPhone SE had dropped in Russia to 30,000 rubles. According to Hi-Tech Mail.ru journalists, the difference with the initial cost was about 25 percent.
