Hours of despair experienced the children and other relatives of a woman who disappeared since the night of Friday, May 5, 2023 in Gijón, Spain.

María Esther López, 55, works as a cleaning assistant in a family home. She was widowed; mother of 3 children and happy grandmother of a girl.

He left for that address around noon on Friday and did not return home, sparking fear among his relatives, who notified authorities of such a strange disappearance.

María Esther was from Asturias and with her children – two live in Madrid and one in Mallorca – she communicated often, so the long silence was not normal.
