The high-quality layout of the new generation iPad revealed the design of the device. This is reported by the publication MySmartPrice.

Media journalists received mock-ups of the new Apple tablet from the gadget case manufacturer. Judging by the images, the iPad 10 planned for the fall will have a design that is almost similar to the current generation, but will receive a larger display – by 10.5 or 10.9 inches – and dimensions of 248.62×179.50×6.98 millimeters. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor will be located at the bottom of the front panel, and a single camera at the back.

Judging by the materials, the iPad will not receive a 3.5mm headphone jack. According to experts, Apple apparently decided to deprive the new tablet of a physical interface after the iPhone. The first smartphone of the American brand, which came out without a port for connecting wired headphones, was the iPhone 7.

Journalists could not say for sure whether the tablet will receive a USB-C connector or remain with a Lightning port. In the images, the place for the connector is closed with a plug.

At the end of July, MacRumors sources said that Apple intends to gradually transfer its popular gadgets to support the USB-C connector. One of the first devices with the new port may be the iPad, the announcement of which is scheduled for the fall.
