The death of the Saudi Hamad bin Hamoud al-Tamimi in Marib province was reported on Wednesday ep by two Yemeni officials.
Al Tamimi was one of them top commanders of the Al Qaeda branch in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
The jihadist was killed in a drone attack on his home on Feb. 26, AQAP reported, according to SITE, an organization that specializes in extremist groups.
In the AQAP statement, he presented it as a “media managerwhich managed the group’s foreign activities, including some against US interests.

That is what the AQAP organization has said Tamimi spent nearly four years in prison in Saudi Arabia before traveling to Yemen in 2013.before the start of the civil war between government supporters, backed by Riyadh, and the Houthi rebels, backed by Iran.
