LG launched the first fully wireless OLED

LG Electronics unveiled its 97-inch Signature OLED M display (model M3) at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, the world’s first consumer TV with Zero Connect technology, a wireless solution capable of streaming video and audio in real time from up to 4K 120hz.

Unlike conventional TVs, where all the input ports for connecting external devices are located on the back or sides, the M3 comes with a separate Zero Connect box that sends video and audio signals wirelessly to your TV. 97-inch cinematic screen.

The box comes with multiple ports for connecting commonly used HDMI devices such as cable/satellite boxes and game consoles, and can also connect wirelessly with compatible sound bars for richer, more powerful audio along with for added convenience without wires.

To ensure smooth data transfer from the box to the TV, the Korean company developed an algorithm that instantly identifies the optimal transmission path. It also helps minimize transmission errors or dropouts, as it can recognize changes in the immediate environment, such as people or pets moving across the room, and reroute accordingly.

Plus, for maximum signal strength, the box’s antenna can be easily rotated and tilted to align with the TV’s location. To complete the user experience, the Zero Connect box is enabled for voice recognition. (YO)
